Sandy water is treated canyon and reservoir water with summer well water. We size softening, filtration and kitchen RO to that mix.
Sandy City Public Utilities gets most of its water from the Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake and Sandy, treated from Little Cottonwood Creek, Bell Canyon Creek and Deer Creek and Jordanelle reservoirs, plus 16 city wells run mainly in summer. Its report lists total hardness of 158 mg/L as CaCO3 in 2025 plant water.
Sandy's report shows a chlorine residual averaging 0.45 mg/L in 2025, with total dissolved solids of 226.5 mg/L in plant water and 235 mg/L from the city wells.
Nitrate in 2025 measured 1.57 mg/L from the wells and 0.255 mg/L in the surface supply. Summer well water can read differently from winter, and we size for both.
Sandy is an easy drive up from Lehi, and the same local crew handles a Sandy install from first call to final check.
